        Thanks for your comment! After hoping and hoping that I would find a solution, I found out that my insurance won’t cover it, that I can’t get financing, and that I’m going to have to do this on my own. I’ve started a new blog to that end- come on over and see me there! http://www.weightlossinsandiego.com — you may recognize the theme! :-)

      I’m also in San Diego (North Park) also looking into getting the lap-band done. May I ask if you selected a doctor/hospital yet? If so do you mind sending me a list of of your top picks.
